The Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold, unveiled on August 13, 2024, is Google's latest foldable smartphone, blending innovative design with advanced technology. 

Design and Display

The Pixel9 Pro Fold showcases a refined design with flat sides and an elongated camera oval. It featu res a 6.3-inch Actua OLED external display with a resolution of 1080 x 2424 pixels, offering a smooth 60-120Hz refresh rate. When unfolded, it reveals an expansive 8-inch Super Actua Flex LTPO OLED internal display with a resolution of 2076 x 2152 pixels and a dynamic 1-120Hz refresh rate. Both screens support HDR and are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, ensuring durability. 

Performance and Storage

Powered by Google's Tensor G4 processor, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold comes with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Storage options include 256GB and 512GB UFS 3.1, catering to various user needs. 

Camera System

The rear camera setup comprises a 48MP Quad PD main sensor (f/1.7), a 10.5MP Dual PD ultrawide lens (f/2.2), and a 10.8MP Dual PD telephoto lens (f/3.1) with 5× optical zoom and up to 20× Super Res Zoom. Both the front and inner cameras feature 10MP Dual PD sensors (f/2.2), ensuring high-quality selfies and video calls. 

Battery and Charging

Equipped with a 4560mAh battery, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold supports 45W fast charging and wireless charging, ensuring quick and convenient power replenishment. 

Operating System and Updates

Running on Android 14, the device is guaranteed to receive seven years of OS and security updates, ensuring long-term software support. 

Color Options

The Pixel 9 Pro Fold is available in two colors: Porcelain (off-white) and Obsidian (dark gray), allowing users to choose a finish that suits their style.
