Mount Compatibility

The Charging Module is intended for integration with a compatible SP Connect mount. The mount must provide the correct attachment point for installing the module.

Compatibility can vary by mount model and generation. Confirm that your existing SP Connect mount accepts the Charging Module before ordering.

Phone Compatibility

The module is designed to operate with a compatible SP Connect Phone Case and a smartphone that supports wireless charging.

Correct operation is not guaranteed when using:

• SP Connect Universal Interface

• SP Connect Universal Phone Case

• Unsupported third-party cases or interfaces

The phone must support compatible inductive charging to receive power.

Power Options

The Charging Module contains no internal battery and must remain connected to an external power source. Depending on the installation, it may be powered using:

• A motorbike or e-bike electrical system with an appropriate cable

• An SP Connect 12V DC Cable for direct vehicle-battery installation

Important Note

The Charging Module is a charger, not a power bank, and does not contain an integrated battery. The smartphone, SP Connect Phone Case, mounting base, 12V DC Cable and power source are not included.

This standard Charging Module does not include the vibration-reduction system found in the Charging Anti Vibration Module. For motorbikes or other applications that generate significant vibration, consider the vibration-dampening version—particularly when using a smartphone with a mechanical camera stabilisation system.

For direct connection to a motorbike battery, use an appropriate voltage-converting cable and connect it to an ignition-switched circuit to help prevent battery drain. Electrical installation should be completed by a suitably qualified person.

On vehicles with keyless ignition, start the ignition before attaching the smartphone, as overlapping frequency channels may interfere with keyless systems.
