General Description

Keep your phone securely mounted and powered throughout your ride with the Quad Lock Waterproof Wireless Charging Head. Designed for motorcycles, bicycles, compatible e-bikes and other outdoor applications, it combines Qi wireless charging with Quad Lock’s secure dual-stage twist-and-lock mounting system.

Its IP67-rated construction provides dependable resistance against water and dust, while the aluminium rear housing and cooling fins help manage heat during charging. With output levels of up to 15W, it automatically delivers a suitable charging rate to compatible devices and power sources.

Power Options

The charging head supports several power configurations:

• USB-A: Requires a QC 3.0-compatible power source
• USB-C: Requires the separately available Quad Lock USB-C power cable and a PD 3.0 source
• Motorcycle: Can connect to a suitable built-in USB port, powered accessory socket or Quad Lock 12V to USB Smart Adaptor
• E-bike: Compatible with selected Bosch and Shimano mid-drive systems when used with the correct Quad Lock power cable

The charging head uses a dedicated waterproof connector. Standard third-party cables cannot be connected directly to the head.

Phone Compatibility

Compatible with phones that:

• Support Qi wireless charging
• Are fitted with a compatible Quad Lock Case
• Can connect to the Quad Lock dual-stage locking system

This includes selected Apple iPhone, Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel models. Actual charging speed depends on the phone, power supply, battery level, temperature and applications running during use.

Mount Compatibility

The charging head is compatible with selected Quad Lock 360 mounting products and suitable motorcycle or cycling setups. Depending on the installation, an appropriate base, arm, adaptor or mounting kit may be required.

It is not compatible with the Quad Lock Universal Adaptor. A model-specific Quad Lock Case is required for secure attachment.

E-Bike Compatibility

For direct e-bike installation, the system is intended for compatible mid-drive motors with a regulated accessory power port. Quad Lock offers dedicated cables for selected Bosch Smart System and Shimano drive units.

It is not designed for direct connection to hub-drive e-bike systems. Confirm the motor model, connector and available voltage before purchasing a direct e-bike power cable.

Motorcycle Installation

Do not connect the USB version directly to a motorcycle battery without a suitable regulated adaptor. Use a compatible USB power source or the Quad Lock Waterproof 12V to USB Smart Adaptor.

For motorcycles, Quad Lock recommends installing a compatible Vibration Dampener to help protect the phone’s camera from high-frequency engine vibration.

Important Information

• IP67 testing does not mean the device is suitable for permanent underwater use
• Wireless charging may slow or pause in high temperatures
• Phone usage, navigation and direct sunlight may reduce the net charging rate
• Mount, phone case, vibration dampener and alternative power cables are sold separately
• Professional installation is recommended for hardwired or e-bike power connections
• Confirm the power source is switched or protected to avoid draining the vehicle battery
• Do not use damaged cables, connectors or sealing components
