Dust, Water, and Drop Resistance

Have you ever dropped your speaker, rolled down a hill, and landed in the water? No? Well, believe it or not, it happens sometimes. That's why we built the JBL Flip 7 to be very, very durable.  In addition to our legendary waterproof and dustproof design  (industry-leading IP68 rating), we've also made sure that if you drop it from a height  of one meter onto a concrete floor, it won't even complain. But that doesn't mean you can just throw the speaker around  to impress people. Instead, use it to throw epic parties.* Based on laboratory tests with immersion in up to 1.5 meters of freshwater for up to 30 minutes.
